Increasingly, local United Ways are strategically investing resources to help close gaps and disparities in education, economic mobility, and health, especially those disparities disproportionately experienced by Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC). The Equity Advancement Fund will support innovative solutions to drive lasting, positive change in the advancement of equity and social justice for BIPOC communities.
The Fund supports new initiatives or existing efforts that address justice and equity in education, health care, housing, food access, employment, voting rights, and criminal justice and may include capacity-building resources for organizations that are BIPOC led and/or serve BIPOC communities.
